ME100 Awards

In 2021, we wanted to honour our 100-year anniversary by celebrating with both our clients and our people to reinforce the key values that we share.

With this in mind, we wanted to create something innovative and relevant, something that resonates with our values and aligns with our legacy. The ME100 Awards is a programme that seeks to invest £10,000 in two budding entrepreneurs who we sponsored and mentored for one year. As they built on their ideas and develop their business, we had the chance to learn and hear first-hand about the important issues that the real estate sector should be addressed. Thanks to Young Entrepreneurs in Property (YEP) for their partnership on these awards.

In 2022, we were delighted to have won the “Marketing for Good” Award at the Property Marketing Awards for the ME100Awards in recognition of the exemplary social and sustainability impact that was delivered throughout the campaign.

The winners

The winners of the ME100 Awards were Faith Locken (We Rise In) and Hannah Chappatte (HYBR). They were chosen for their potential to transform the property sector. Their focus on inclusion, diversity and financial accessibility were excellent, and we were honoured to have supported them over the course of the year.

FAITH LOCKEN – WE RISE IN

We Rise In’s mission is to inspire, elevate, and develop the careers of black professionals whilst promoting inclusion, equality, and diversity in the real estate industry.

We Rise In executes this mission by working with both individuals and companies. Through mentoring and leadership programmes, We Rise helps black professional individuals hone the tools and skill sets they need to aspire to achieve positions of seniority in their careers.

We Rise In works with real estate companies to inform and educate them on the biases that may exist within their organisations that could be limiting their black employees. We Rise In works with corporates to ensure that their black employees are receiving adequate career support and guidance, offering their employees the opportunity to enrol on the We Rise In mentoring and leadership programmes.
