Ben specialises in non-domestic rating appeals and liability consultancy advice for landlords and developers in both the public and private sector. He joined Montagu Evans in 2017, having spent four years at the Valuation Office Agency where he worked both in business rates and for the District Valuer Services. He qualified and progressed to a team leader where he managed a team of Chartered Surveyors in the London non-domestic Rating team.

Since joining Montagu Evans, Ben has settled numerous rating appeals for both public and private sector clients as well as appearing as an expert witness at valuation tribunal where necessary, securing reductions as well as providing consultancy advice, especially to clients under check, challenge and appeal.
