Innes is a Senior Planner specialising in Strategic Town Planning.

Katherine joined Montagu Evans in Autumn 2024, with four years’ experience working in the private sector on a range of instructions throughout Scotland and renewables development UK wide.

Katherine is a Chartered Town Planner specialising in providing strategic planning advice and has been involved in a variety of national, major, and local projects across all development sectors, including residential, student accommodation, education, industrial, hotel, office, and renewables.

Katherine has worked with both private and public sector clients assisting in all stages of the planning process, from initial due diligence to application campaigning and post-consent procedures.

Key skills

• Input in managing projects, including planning applications and listed building consent applications, Planning Appeals, Plan submissions, Plan monitoring, conditions discharge, and client asset monitoring.
• Undertaking research, due diligence, and feasibility assessments as well as preparing a full range of planning documents.
• Providing advice in relation to the Pre-application Consultation (PAC) process and stakeholder consultation.
• Advising on emerging planning policy at a local and national level.
