Lucy is a Chartered Town Planner experienced across a range of sectors, but with a particular focus on the retail and leisure sector, where she has been involved in securing planning permission for a variety of retail, commercial and mixed-use developments across the county as a whole. Lucy’s clients include a mix of asset managers, developers and individual operators.

Lucy has over 15 years of experience advising both private and public sector clients on a wide range of planning matters, ranging from initial site appraisals, Local Plan representations and planning strategies through to the preparation and submission of detailed and large-scale planning applications.

Lucy undertakes all aspects of planning work associated with the preparation of retail assessments, including detailed impact assessments and the application of the sequential test. She has in-depth knowledge and experience of all aspects of retail planning, ranging from the change of use, varying goods restrictions and extensions to individual units to the development of new supermarkets and retail parks. Her passion is within the out-of-town retail and leisure market, including the development and asset management of retail warehousing and shopping parks, as well as food stores.
