Matthew is a passionate town planner with over five years of experience in the Scottish and New South Wales (Australia) planning systems.

In Australia, he was part of the largest planning consultancy team in New South Wales, working on some of the State’s most complex projects. These included new build-to-rent and commercial towers, a new sand mine, redeveloped hospitals, and repurposed State heritage items.

Matthew’s expertise lies in preparing strategic planning advice and planning applications across the commercial, residential, education, health, industrial, and not-for-profit sectors. He is particularly skilled at understanding the applicable planning legislation, policies, and environmental constraints to provide tailored and clear advice for clients.

Outside the workplace, Matthew has served as a board member for a school council, where he used his technical skills to assist with governance and strategic visioning.
