Montagu Evans introduced the investment opportunity and advised Aberdeen Standard Investments on the purchase of this prime bulky goods retail park in 2012 for £28.6m.
Subsequently, we have provided ongoing lease advisory and agency advice in several areas of asset management, which has included tenant engineering to reflect changing retail patterns and new lettings to Sofology, ScS, Natuzzi and KFC.
The site is strategically located close to Reading Railway station, which new benefits from the Elizabeth Line, with major office and residential developments in the immediate vicinity. Montagu Evans will be shortly submitting a planning application for a high-quality residential-led development after lengthy consultation with Reading BC and other stakeholders to shape the future of the site.
